SkirtsAfire consistently monitors public health measures and requirements and is continually planning and responding to news as information unfolds. The health and safety of our artists, staff, and patrons is our top priority. Our current efforts include our own updated policies and procedures, the hiring of Infection Mitigation Coordinators, plus working closely with our venues to ensure we have procedures in place to promote the highest of safety. 

SkirtsAfire is continuing our COVID-19 policy and will require anyone over 12 to show proof of full vaccination, medical exemption, or proof of negative test from a pharmacy within 72 hours, along with ID. Masks are also required. See below for information for our cafe events.

Other COVID-19 policies still in effect:

  • Masks worn at all times, except for when consuming food or beverages while seated at a table. 
  • Rigorous sanitization protocols
  • Physical distancing
  • Self-screening for symptoms (If you are feeling unwell, or are experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19 such as a cough, runny nose, sore throat, fever, or nausea, please stay home. We will be happy to give you a refund for your ticket.)

Our Venues

  • The Westbury Theatre
    • Physically distanced seating
    • Air exchange every 5 minutes
    • Please note that proof of vaccination is not required to enter the ATB Financial Arts Barns Lobby, which houses the Fringe Grounds Café, the entrance to the Westbury Theatre, and SkirtsAfire’s art installation.
  • Army & Navy
    • Physically distanced seating at 20% capacity
  • The Woodrack Cafe & Chianti Cafe
    • The cafes will be following the current health restrictions set by the government and Alberta Health Services at the time.
  • Holy Trinity Church
    • Physically distanced seating 

While precautions are taken to prevent the spread, we acknowledge that we cannot eliminate the risk of transmission of COVID-19 or other communicable diseases.
